This guy is the HUSKY backer we don't currently have in our lline-up good move to grab him since he fits the one spot we apparently don't have. He can play for a year or two and teach the new guys we recruit for it.

Roster Situation As it pertains to Scholarships per Bama Online's Roster Tracker (Thank god for this, my count was off by 1 or 2 earlier)

Total = 81
Assuming things happen as we hope Noah Carter and Ryan Williams sign, that puts us to 83.
If we get Khalil Jacobs then we're at 84 before Spring Practices barring anything crazy happening in the time frame between now and Feb 1st.

And it may well be. But these pay sites are often off a number or two, or were under Saban at least. DeBoer might be more open about it like some other coaches. And it isnāt a big deal at all, it doesnāt really matter. Just a FWIW that they really donāt have any more insight on the actual numbers than you. Or I. Or Denise whoās working the register on aisle 7 in Publix.

But Denise did tell me we're winning it all this year, she gave all the referees extra coupons.
I can think of a few I'd love to get if it were an option
Mason Graham - D-line
Josaiah Stewart - EDGE
Derrick Moore - EDGE
That's about it from their roster that we'd want, played last year, and were solid contributors. We could also grab 1 of their 2 tackles but they are just experienced, not world beating tackles. Might be better to just stick with the guys we already have.
Can Bama be in contact with Michigan players, since they still have a coach?
Not supposed to, but it hasn't stopped a lot of other teams from tampering. But there's also some ways to go about it via backchannels that I wouldn't consider outright tampering.
