Yeah, on the team he did that to. Just because it's Saban doesn't change my mind.

Deep down, I think that left a sour taste in his mouth and the whole LSU and Dolphins deal was due to his arrogance when he was younger and thought nothing could stop him. He's been pretty humble at Alabama and I feel those tines he quit helped mold him into what stayed put in Tuscaloosa.

I've mentioned this a time or two. I've got a good friend in Mobile, Gulf Shores to be exact, that's been in business with Terry for years: LSU days. It was truly a case of a wife telling her husband what makes him happy. College ball. (I melted down an LSU site, Tigerforums/Tigerfans when I told them in November of '06 Saban was headed to Bama. Said it here. It's funny because the news came from Barrett Jones' family...Sexton lived next door)

What a lot don't remember is Bama was one of four he was thinking about. LSU was one. UGA was one. UF, and Bama.

What's four or five days mean? The schools he has available to him or still going to pursue him if he enters the Portal and whether or not he plays. He waited four years for this opportunity, and now he runs when he has his chance?

That’s the point, he’s not going to be given a chance. The staff (according to some of their players that I coach as kids), are telling qb’s in the portal the job is there’s!!! Kinda cold shouldering him. Now this is 2 of the current starting o-linemen, they have since opted out also.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not see us landing him. It's likely he chooses a school to go back to his home state.... but we'll see.

Will say this, from the pic, ball security is not on his mind...my coaches would scream "don't carry it like a loaf of bread". Another would demonstrate by putting his hand and fingers around the "tip" of the ball and say "hold it tight like a big old breast". The way I understand it, they'd have to wait until the spring window unless they enter it this week.

I believe non playoff contending players have until tomorrow and playoff contending players get an additional 5 day window. If they don’t opt out now, then they have to wait until the Spring.
