5-star 2023 Recruit Freshman Tackle big and physical was the back-up this year at LSU. Obviously unhappy about something, someone to watch for at least.
EDIT: Read up on it, he wants a chance at playing time. He was the back-up at LSU and nobody on that line is leaving this year so he wants somewhere he can get a spot. Would be a pretty perfect fit for our right side. He started 1 game this year for LSU and played in most every game in some capacity. Tigers were really high on him, Kelly tried to persuade him to stay but he wanted to take time away during the bowl game to make a decision and he decided to move on.

Need all we can get at the position. Haven't seen any, but are there any centers available that are in the portal with starting experience? After yesterday, I never want to see a bad snap again. I know we've got guys coming in and currently on the team that can be moved to center. But I'd rather have the sure thing.

Unfortunately, nobody noteworthy at center unless we get someone from one of the playoff teams jumping in here. I think we'd be easier to find a center by promoting from within than finding a bookend right tackle.
While they really need another C before spring, if they have to, they can wait until April's window opens... will be some options then.

I just wanna hear your take on this. I know some A&M boosters that I can ask but this tweet by Evan Stewart is pretty damming of Jimbo and his regime.
Is he saying they intentionally withheld diagnosis or told him false information and he had to search for a 3rd party doctor to get a real diagnosis? If so...that's incredibly scummy to do to someone's health.
Not sure what he's getting at there... if he's trying to hint something, or if he's legitimately confused.
He's a back up, but Ferguson or Dalcourt would have likely taken over for Seth this year.

If Nick had a center worth a shit he would have played this season.
He and his brother both had issues adding weight/bulk. That has been his biggest obstacle, but credit to him for staying when he certainly didnāt have to this past spring/summer.

The saga of Stewart gets weirder, Tennessee is backing off of him completely from what I'm hearing now. This guy might be too much trouble or he's a head case.
Without knowing particulars about what's going on there, I'll say this (almost said it in the previous reply)... I don't know how different schools handle it, but in the pros, fairly or not... stuff like he put out there in the tweet with a 'mental health' line = red flag. I'm sure there's a whole lot more going on with his situation, and it may have nothing to do with all that... about all I know is Bama kicked the tires and moved on... but he's doing himself no favors by putting stuff like that out there that he's going to get grilled on later by any team that sends him through the car wash.

Man, a guy I mentioned a few weeks ago. Came in with a lot of promise and some guys on here mentioned likely getting some early snaps. I never heard his name once he got to school. Iām sure he had his chances.Shazz Preston is hitting the portal.
