This is an interesting weekend for the ladies. Just like the men's tourney, you always want to start on Friday. Sunday will determine that and it looks favorable for Bama IF they can pull out a win on the road against A&M. Conversely, Tennessee is on the road at UofSC.

Right now Bama is #5 in conference play, UT #4. If the above comes true Alabama holds the tie-breaker vs UT this season.

So, we'd be looking at UT playing the winner of UGA vs UK. If the Vols win that game...it's Bama vs the Vols on Friday.

We've seen a pretty dramatic power shift over the last few years.

On my list of things I'm curious about is how the portal works with WBB. I'm assuming it's the same as MBB.

Curry and her roster management are something to watch this spring and summer. If she can hang onto this group they have some potential next season. No one loses eligibility and from what I understand the three seniors all plan to take their Covid year.

IMO Curry is not a very good in game coach. At one point today in the first half Bama was up by 19 and Joni made in game adjustments and A&M came back and was up by 2. I, as you hope the seniors eligible to come back next year will do so. Curry as a coach is not going to compete against the likes of DS at Carolina, KM at LSU and even JT at A&M after she’s had a few years to build her program. Curry has been HC at Bama for 11 years and these players deserve better coaching than what they are getting, especially in game adjustments. Yes, Curry is a very likable person and does a lot of good things for the community as do her players but she should have been sent packing 5-6 years ago.
