Could change. Pearl's teams are always very prepared and look elite in November + December. Complete opposite of Oats' teams who usually hit their stride in late January-March.

Not going to lie though, this auburn squad looks much different and very tough.
Auburn is the quintessential poster child for fast starts in early season. They usually start hot and then stay hot through November. As soon as league play starts up though, they start to wilt and by the end of the season they're usually playing their worst ball.

That indicates to me that Pearl struggles to adjust once people figure out his system. Unless he has a massive star talent he usually can't get over the hump. I'd look for them to be in the tournament no matter what but I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggling going into January
