Wanted to go all-in on Marshall and the spread but I was afraid they would pull a "Boise State". Boise was a 12 1/2 point favorite at kickoff against NTSU and couldn't even cover the 3 1/2 point opening line we had here on the Sportsbook.

After watching him coach this year I just don't think he is that good or intelligent as advertised. Poor game management one example up 9 pts early in second half he goes for 2 instead of kicking the EP. I see now why LSU did not want him. JMO.

Ok. What really profitable for a college football coach in G5....have a great group of guys and win big... and get to the next level.... be fixed for life...whether you win or not...

With all the changes coming in the post season it dawns on me we may not get the chance to watch as many option offenses in the future as we have previously.

Today gives us the triple option versus an air attack.

What was the difference in the '82 and '83 temps? I was at the '82 game and thought I was going to die. Was with my brother and he said the '76 game was colder. Coldest Liberty Bowl would have to be the first in Philadelphia.

I may be way ahead of you guys in the Sportsbook but that is very misleading. Made $500k on Marshall and have broken even on the rest. Those of you following my lead are doing so at great risk of your sportsbook cash. You would do just as well wagering on the other team. I am not very good at this. I do it because I never want to forget what would happen if I was wagering real cash.

'82 stayed in the '30's; '83 never made it that high.
