🏈 GAME THREAD 2020-2021 CFB Playoffs and Bowl Games

Just saw a few clips here and there about UF having opt outs. I thought that was mainly on offense. Did they have D players opt out also? Getting it handed to them by OU. OU more physical and poor tackling by UF.

Their Defense is pretty meh to begin with. Bama scored on all but 3 drives (realy 4 with the interception that was fumbled back). So far tonight Florida has 4 stops of Okie. But their o is terrible.

Heard or read they are missing 4 starters on D also. Not sure if that’s opt outs or what. They look awful on both sides of the ball. Definitely not the team we played.

He kind of became the poster boy tonight for why NOT to play in a Bowl Game... Especially w/ out some of your best teammates.

It's unfortunate because I give him credit for stepping up and competing. Unfortunately, this type of performance could only hurt his stock. Even if by just a pick, or a few picks, it can be costly.

On the positive side - He didn't get hurt! I credit Mullen for playing the backup early... One of the few things I can stomach from him!

Players have coaches by the balls these days. Can you imagine some player pulling this crap on someone like Bryant, Woody Hayes, Switzer, or Schembechler in the 70s or 80s?

Also it doesn't help that the bowl system ruined itself by massive and unnecessary expansion. Over-saturation is causing diminishing returns that are quickly causing the bowl system to become completely irrelevant.

Nick Saban is right about CF needing a commissioner.
