Large line moves because the odds makers are clueless. Houston opened at -13 and closed at -7. Lost by 14!

How many missed due to Covid? A few days ago it was expected that 15-20 on UH's side would miss the game.

Not sure because that info is being deleted as the games are played, but IIRC that sounds about right.

Another reason is the lack of OOC games means the odds makers don't know the true strength of the conferences. For example the AAC. With the exception of Memphis, they have been terrible. Cincinnati in the CFP would have been a joke.

Mentioned over in the Sportsbook thread were Marshall's tendencies coming off a loss and how they've done in bowl games. The last I looked, the total is remaining pretty constant ... on the over.

LOL! Don't know if they would cover the over if they played 4 OTs.

The game of the day must have changed times, it’s 7:30EST time. Coastal vs Liberty.

Liberty's first drive of the second half ended with what was ruled a touchback interception. Was a simultaneous catch which by rule is a dead ball at the time of the catch and goes to the offense. Since it occurred in the end zone it should have been ruled a Liberty TD.

Coastal trying to get Liberty to score because there is under 1 minute and they are tied with Liberty on the 3 yard line. Coastal on the snap just stands there and Liberty QB walks to the 2 and the Coastal guys pull him in to the end zone. Not awful, right? But the QB fumbles it on the half yard line as they try to pull him in for the score. LOL Can’t make this stuff up!

So Coastal gets the ball backed up on their 1 rather than Liberty running the clock out and kicking a FG or scoring a TD for the win. Never seen a sequence quite like that. Probably never will.

Watching 2016 Bama/Clemson and this bowl at the same time. Man we had some players on that team and some stud D players. We could use a few of those on this years team especially in the front 7.

Funny you mention these two things together.

In this expanded playoff scenario we would be looking at a Clemson vs Coastal type of game versus what we saw last night. There's no question which one would be the better football game when comparing the two.

Valero Bowl with Texas. Just did a short clip of Ellinger’s mom giving him a little message which was nice. But she was standing in front of a Xmas tree with no makeup and wearing a silk pajama top with no bra. And she’s very busty... it was awkward.
