like every other year, Golden Flake will be releasing a collectible tin for BAMA's national championship in 2017.

i'll be getting mine as soon as they go on sale in stores here. i'm not keen on paying almost as much for shipping as the item being shipped. so i'll just get on in a store like i've always done.

and i still need to get one from the '92 season. but i'm waiting on a more favorable price, lol.

i always eat the chips that come in the canisters. now if they did a special bag, like this:

, then i'd probably keep the bag, unopened, in the canister. but since it's just a regular bag of chips, i eat them.

the new one should be out sometime late february, early march. that's when they usually release them.

Kind of special with the score on the bag....guess it depends on what it looks like.

i had the cans from 2009, 2011, and 2012...but after a while they started to leak. that's why i prefer the glass bottles. i have 5 of the Bear Bryant ones from 1979 (wanna get 1 more), one from the '92 championship (still wanna get 5 more), and 6 of the ones from 2009. i can find a 6-pack from the 2015 championship, but finding them from the 2011 or 2012 championship is proving difficult.
