any of yall know where u can find the Stats from the '92 team? like individual stats (yardage, TDs, tackles, etc.). just interested to see em.

Check RollTide.com or possibly NCAA.org. NCAA.org is a good site for stats but I'm not sure they have them recorded that far back.

Less than 10 pts a game scored on that defense... That was early in my Bama-fan career but I still remember that game. Wow.. Just Wow.

I'm not Terry, but I believe this is the best historical link on the rolltide.com web site. There are some bad links, but overall it's awesome to go back and look at rosters, check stats and read contemporary recaps of the games, like this one from 1961:

http://www.rolltide.com/datadump/fls_files/files/football/1961/recaps.pdf

Careful, it's a time killer.

Tim

The bookmarks I keep would drive you crazy. I literally have pages kept for different things revolving around football and Bama. People wonder why I carry my laptop to the sports bar when it's football season.

Fantastic reading about that 1961 bunch. I was 10th grader, but I saw a few of those games. I know most of you remember the great D of 1992, but the 1961 D was pretty spiffy as well. The substitution rules of that time meant that a lot of players went both ways.

Still, 5 straight shutouts, and several opponents held under 100 total yards is impressive in any era.
