Was sitting in a tree house, platform, in a Sweet Gum tree when I was 3 or 4 with my older brothers, when main support limb broke loose. Lucky I suppose that we all didn't die. I've shot a couple of deer out of wooden tree stands, platforms.

I have heard it said, there are two kinds of deer hunters, those who have fallen from tree stands and those who are going to fall.

Please Sir, forgive my ignorance for not knowing the difference between a deer stand, platform from a Tree Fort. But I was defending myself from a tree stand, from the known aggression of the unpredictable White Tailed species.

I’ve never hunted deer from a tree stand. I’ve waterfowl hunted from raised blinds is about as close as I’ve gotten
