Wouldn't sweat it a whole lot....I'm guessing both of those teams had rather be in our position than have the best receivers in the SEC.

it was sentiment not the actual completions and drops statistically. But it was prob true for yesterday's game

Sure, there have been some drops. In my opinion, most of the incompletions were due to ball placement.

Trevor Knight is a Senior, 4th season as a starter.
Austin Allen is a Junior. 1st season as a starter, 2 prior years in mop up duty.
Josh Dobbs is a Senior. 3.5 seasons as a starter.

Compare our WR next year to Arkansas, and the following year to TAMU & Tennessee.

Ok. Ridley had 5 catches yesterday. You think he "probably" had 6 or more drops?

People forget Julio used to have drops too.

We have one of the most talented groups of wide receivers in the country. Ridley is a first round draft pick. OJ Howard is a first round pick. Ardarius Stewart is always open, makes tough catches, and runs like a running back. And Robert Foster has a ton of talent but has not had a lot of opportunities. The problem is that we have a true freshman QB whose strength is in his legs, not his arm. Just think about the fact that next year this whole corps (minus OJ) will be back and Hurts will have a year of experience and hopefully good development as a passer. Our passing game could be unstoppable next year. But don't make the mistake of thinking that it's the fault of the WRs. They are getting open and making plays. They just don't get a lot of opportunity.
