Almost business as usual.
Practice today has been moved up an hour so some of the players that live a couple of hours from school can go home and spend some time with their families. (Saban said "we have to have practice today.) Others that don't have that luxury will still spend time with families; but it'll be with some of the coaches and their families.
There are plans to have a Turkey dinner tomorrow as a team.
The team will bus to Montgomery tomorrow and then the rest of the way Saturday.
Adding one note to the Odd and Ends post last night by reports practice has continually improved as the week progressed. Practice has been described as being very spirited with Saban saying the players have responded and worked very hard...albeit with one caveat: "Hopefully it will carry over to the game this weekend."
On a different note, I had to chuckle at Saban's comments about bulletin board material.
“I haven’t seen anything or read anything (that would provide such motivation),” he said. “I think someone would have brought it to my attention...if we need some guy to get us fired up by something he said in the paper, we’re missing the boat…or I’m missing the boat at least.”
