Ok so what is your reason? I am interested to hear.
He needs to hear you beg, on your knees, like this:

“Pray tell, Oh @TerryP the Great Oracle, what is the meaning of thy pronouncement? Do please depart from the divine tongues of angels, and indulge us mortals by uttering the tongue of flesh and blood, so that we may know thy will.” 😉

Okay, since we're going down this road.

I'm also prophetic. I told the group, before the season, what we were seeing. What we were about to see...and, the "Great Oracle," has been proven correct.

Many of you forgot what CKD said about the offense:

The reason? The offense must suit the personnel he inherited.

"There's going to be a lot of our offense that we never install this year, just because of the players that we have," DeBoer said Wednesday on the SEC's weekly media teleconference. "There's going to be other elements of the system that we haven't used much the past few years, that we'll go draw upon."

One key difference is that Alabama's returning offensi

I see you saying this with a straight face. A lot what you were saying in the off season did not happen. You were very bullish on year one. Pretty sure you had Milroe going to NYC and Bama playing for the national championship (I am not going back to find the exact wording it is not worth it). You were on me big time when I was trying to tap the brakes and saying at least let them play a game and even a season or two before crowing CKD the next GOAT. Parts of what you said maybe were true but man you were one of the biggest rah rah guys in the preseason. I still think long term you will be right but you were not year one.

If I interpret you "Rumspringa" correclty your reason for the struggles is the players adjusting to having more freedom and their ability to handle that. That just reinforces my position all along that it takes time especially year one with a new staff and the players ability to adjust to it. Usually I am referring to scheme when I say that but you are applying to how CKD engages with them versus CNS which makes sense also.

You are getting the picture I'm painting; but it's not on the staff. The inability to handle tough circumstances in a game comes from the inability to do the same in life. A large breakdown of that came from the Covid years. A larger breakdown comes from their rearing: both educationally and parentally.

You can find a staff of coaches with players who still have the inability to "kick the dust off their sandals" where those staff members have been on a campus for years.

Again. I never said "Bama playing for..." I said, "Bama competing for..." A spot in the playoff is (checks notes) competing for ...

I did say I expected to see JM in NYC. He should be. I can't explain the mental breakdowns he had with Vandy and OU. I saw what he did in other games. Juxtapose those. It's not a new system. It's not a new staff. It's Jalen's mental make-up at times.

I still put this under a new scheme with regards to the total picture... It takes time to get the right people in the right seats and each of them knowing w/o thinking how to do their jobs. Part of that is how to work with each other and another part is knowing your competition. This is why a team with some stacked years in the same league should be able to execute more consistently if they have the jimmys and joes. It takes all of it. Now over time coaches better be willing to adapt as the competition learns how to beat you. Adapt to your personel and how you attack the competiion.
