They are not there walking into the stadium to pass out lollipops. They are walking into the stadium to pass out an ass whipping.

Too many folks been watching Tebow give the crowd some love. :?

Do like I did. We let Ali Sharieff's mom and Charlie Higginbotham's family stand in front of us. Quite a few players gave Mrs. Sharieff a hug.

For the record, Corey Reamer was high fiving all the way down. I'm sure a few others were too, I just didn't notice them because of the players I had hugging the lady next to me.

I threw a bag of peanuts to Cody... and Javier ate a couple of M&M's out of my hand.

Another thing I've thought about recently is some of these guys aren't really comfortable being in the spotlight, having all that attention, having people call their names, etc... Some of them are really quiet, and some just don't have the social skills. Some haven't matured to that point yet and some have just never been exposed to a large and diverse group of people.

As several have mentioned a lot of these guys enjoy all of this and really take in every moment. Then for others they might not now but later. It's hard to say.

I was talking to Terry about this recently, and I'll say that many of them acted the same way on the airplane home from the UT game. That's what got me to thinking. I would love the wave, a smile or an acknowledgment but for some you can tell it's just not their comfort zone. For the younger guys I truly think it can be overwhelming. I don't know if any of this made any sense, but I know they appreciate our support when they're on that field. That I do know. :)

BINGO to this entire post! Correct indeed.

Great football talent can make you a star, however, that doesn't mean you know how to handle fame.

All they know is school and football. That doesn't mean they know how to deal with total strangers who love them, and what they've done for us.
