Why love for usm.....C-usa has good teams......
Need variety....... la tech would be 2-1..... uab....Marshall....lots of teams better than usm

For me, history. They may be our most frequent out of conference opponent. Based on my wish for a couple of two-for-one series, I was trying to think of the best teams who would agree to it.

Edit: I wouldn't mind seeing Tulane in a 2-1 setup, either.

I was just building off @It Takes Eleven of love of usm....many nonpower 5 close better than usm.....

And sometimes a 2-1 could offer bama fans a nice travel location even not being a P5....tulane would be one...Hawaii would be 1...

Because getting teams on the schedule isn't as easy as people continue to claim even with it being G5 opponents.

One called Army and they said they'd not heard from UA.

The athletic department pulled in over 38MM last year in ticket sales. Concessions are contracted out with UA getting a cut. I'd have to do some research to find those numbers agian.

Somebody may want to tell the Bama AD that Nick isn't going to be at Bama forever so he may wish to hang on to some of those So Miss and Western Carolina's...…..just saying. I have no problem with playing our normal 8 SEC teams along with one Big Boy each season. Throw in So Miss,Western Kentuck, and a Tulane but NO small schools. The players need a rest on some weeks to recover from playing the better teams.

I know it is not regional but I would not mind seeing the Penn State game come back. Those games were always great. Of course they only recently got themselves back to relevance.
