🏈 Who would you pick from the SE? Saban suggests: "We'd really like to get someone like them (FSU) to almost have a year-to-year (series) with us."

The problem will be finding a team outside of the ACC that doesn’t already have a crossover rival game (Miami/UF, FSU/UF, North Carolina/South Carolina, Clemson/South Carolina). I would take that FSU game if they are willing on a yearly basis.

It really does not matter to me if we play someone from the southeast or not. I just want us to stop scheduling 3 cupcakes every single year. I am all for us doing a home and home with anyone; nd, Michigan, Penn St., Ohio St., Texas, Oklahoma, etc....I have no problem with 1 FBS team, rotate among the state schools (I know that's not popular among some on here). As I have stated many times, Power 5 schools should be required to play Power 5. Just my opinion.

If you look at future schedules, CNS is moving Alabama towards avoiding the Western Kentucky, Georgia State, NW New Mexico State games. Other schools will follow.

I think there will eventually have to become a separate "mega division" if you will, for schools to play a schedule like this in order to compete for a National Title. I like the idea to be honest. Set them into Regional Conferences, South, East, Midwest, West regions similar to the NCAA basketball tourney. If you want a cupcake or instate school to play, you forfeit your spot or elect to play it as a "pre-season" game similar to NFL. Play a 11-12 game regular season schedule against the big boys and then have an 8 team playoff with the 2 highest region leaders from each division square off.

I have more questions for you commissioner.......
But so far you are doing a good job

Florida State is a good choice for a Southern team. A city and stadium people wouldn't mind going to see. Heck, we play everyone else pretty much. Give me Georgia Tech then if I had to pick another. Great recruiting ability and I have a lot of friends that went there. Miami is just a garbage fan base and wish washy if you ask me. Stadium is never full and like an hour away from campus. Clemson is a good post season rival for me, so no need to play them yearly. Idon't consider Virginia and Texas aren't Southern to me, so that's why I don't pick them.

@BamaFan334 ..... good thoughts on that....
I also would like ga tech ..... clemson...
Any football school....stay away from roundball schools...duke, North Carolina, etc
Fsu is good....agree on Miami....tickets will be easy when we play them in Atlanta...
8 conference games, 2 power 5 schools, 2 C-usa schools..
Can live with that

@JoseyWalesTheOutlaw .....is that 10 Bears thoughts? I am ready for 8 also...I still believe all power 5 champions should qualify....if ranked in top 10....

UCF, Virginia Tech, SMU, Houston, Memphis, GA Tech, and Southern MS would make good travel games for all those RV lovers.

I would enjoy a nine-year agreement with SoMiss for three rounds of two-for-one. Stagger the away game with another two-for-one agreement with another mid-major, and then get into premier home-and-home arrangements. Keep one pay-to-play game to tilt total home games up.

Yes...The Ten Bears is onboard for 8 teams since it will give us a little slack if Bama were to lose a game along the way each year. I think it would help all the big boyz step out and schedule better as well.

Down side is that is a long season for the best of the best
