🏈 Who will b our next defensive QB?

He most certainly would make a huge amount of $$$ if he chose to go pro...And cant be faulted for that...but if there ever was a 1st round draft pick to stay for his senior year...I would like to think it would be him...No question he loves college ball. Its hard for me to see him staying though.

Its has been mentioned before although I know nothing about it personally that there is a new salary cap deal that starts after this years draft that will directly affect new players. So if Ro chose to stay he would give up HUGE $$$$ even if he stayed healthy and remained a top 10-20 pick in the next draft. No way he stays..

really and truly, i want Rolando to go. i just would hate to see him get hurt like sam bradford and hurt his future. visions of prothro continue to go thru my head when dealing with situations like this. it is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity for someone like him to go and make his money. i would love to see him in crimson for the next 15 years but it aint gonna happen. so why not go ahead and be sure of his money. in my opinion, its just too much to risk, especially if we when it all.

ONLY way I see him coming back is if we lose in the National Championship game or something of the sort. And even then, its iffy.

I see Barron playing a big role in the defense. Much like Eric Berry for defense. It'll be hard to "QB" from Defensive Back, but I think a true Defensive QB is at LB. So I suspect Donta'a or a plethora of people combining. With these Saban recruits coming in, they all are buying into the system so it'll be AMAZING to see.

Rashad was our "QB of the defense" last year.

I'm still holding out hope Ro stays but you know the deal. I would imagine Hightower is next line as "QB of the D"

This.

One of the things we can take from his injury situation and look at it favorably is the coaching role he's assumed on the sidelines this season. That'll pay dividends next season...
