🌎 Who does the Democratic Party put up for the POTUS race?

@ElephantStomp we talked about this about two years ago; maybe longer. At the time I was thinking about Newsome. Now, I think he's done. I've always believed the notion of AOC wasn't sound. In my view, another that's "done."

Who does that leave?

IF I were writing the script I'd pull someone who is currently, or has been, in Trump's camp who now stands opposed. But I don't have a name or clue.

Shapiro vs Vance?

I think the Dem nominee comes from a governor's house. Shapiro, Newsome, Whitmer, etc. Pritzker has the money to obscure his record, and Hochul has time for things to improve in NY.

Republican wise, everyone will have their knives out for Vance, including the family if Trump wants a child to follow him.

A number of non-Trump contenders for Vance. Youngkin, Rubio, Kemp are all good options.

It’ll be Vance on republican ticket. Maybe trump jr as VP, but I doubt it.
Definitely no on kemp, he made to much money during and just before Covid mandates. He’s a crook too.

Kentucky’s Governor and Shapiro ticket… in either order…One for Southern voters… The other for Yanks and Jewz..Both considered centrist..

Newscum is toast because of the fires…IMO the Dems will have to find a “fake centrist” like Clinton, that will appeal to the south and middle America…One to keep some of Trump’s best policies in place..
