I am being very serious. It was posted below, and I made several comments, but that was before I started reading the whole thread! (Read this board with caution and a grain of salt. There is no respect at all!)

All I can say is, what a bunch of male reporductive anatomy parts!!! (Trying not to violate rules of conduct)
These guys really think that they should not even be on the same field as us! What a crock! Lets look at what 'Bama fans think makes them so much better than us:
2007: 6-5, with their bowl win 7-5 (
http://www.nationalchamps.net/NCAA/colle ge_football_2007_schedules/alabama.htm)
2006: 6-6, with their bowl loss 6-7 (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_Alabam a_Crimson_Tide_football_team)
2005:9-2, with bowl win 10-2 (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Alabam a_Crimson_Tide_football_team)
2004:6-5, with bowl loss 6-6 (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Alabam a_Crimson_Tide_football_team)
SO lets see, bowl wise they are 2-2, so 50%. Besides 2005, their seasons were nothing to great, looks like a lot of "non elite" schools. 3 of the 4 years they barely had a .500, and this makes them elite how?
The 'Bama board just made me super pissed! How can a team's fan base that has, for the last 3 out of 4 years be mired in mediocrity call themselves "elite" and think UTAH has no chance? Looking at their last 4 years, I would ask them, why do they have a chance?
Since 12/31/03, Utah is 5-0 in bowls, including the '05 Fiesta Bowl!
Hey 'Bama fans! What makes you elite? your 2-2 bowl record (versus our 5-0) or your superior win ratio during the season?
I'll tell you whats a joke. Your team has 2 good seasons out of 5, and they think they are so above us! What a bunch of chuckle head @$$ hats!
Sorry all, rant over (but I am still fuming!).
DEAR Clete53,
First off it would be
reproductive and we never calmed to be Elite, but since they are your words I will respond as best as I can. Since you like pick the times we did floundered in mediocrity and just pick the bad parts lets look a the whole picture shall we instead your bias one sided view that you have painted.
wikipedia
The Crimson Tide is one of the most storied and decorated programs in NCAA history, claiming 12 national championships. Alabama has won 25 conference championships, (four Southern Conference and 21 SEC championships) and has made an NCAA-record 55 postseason bowl appearances, which includes a record 31 victories Other NCAA records include eight perfect, undefeated and untied, seasons, 21 10-game win streaks
Let’s look at those UTHS!!
After a 28-year stretch of not playing in a bowl game, Utah football experienced resurgence in the early 1990s under head coach Ron McBride Urban Meyer era
The Ute’s have a 75-33 (.694) record since the beginning of the 2000 season. Along the way, Utah engineered an 18-game winning streak. During the streak, they produced the best season in school history in 2004, (congrats btw)

Can you see anything different between the two teams, I think you can if you look hard enough. Try taking off the bias fan face shield and see what you think.
Other than that good luck! Can’t wait to get on the field!
