šŸˆ Who beats Ohio State in any scenario?

I see your side and don’t argue. But I never underestimate Dabo. And sunshine has the ability to light it up. Not sure what has happened to Etienne but he’s worn us and many others out in his 11 years there. They only lose to SEC teams in the playoffs.

no doubt Lawrence lit UA up in the championship game, but I contend he did it because UA brought almost zero pressure on him. He can fling the ball but his accuracy breaks down under pressure and I don’t believe he can create and decide like Mac,Trask or even Book. I also do not believe Clemson has the horses on defense they’ve had in the past. If they prove me wrong I will be right here to own it

I've always said he doesn't win that game without the amazing catches from Higgins and Ross. One handed catches, acrobatic catches, and just some luck as well. Lawrence was bailed out, not just dominant.

Ohio State loses a game to an inferior team every year. Answer me a better question; who wouldn't be 4-0 after playing their pathetic schedule.

Ohio State completely capable of losing to Bama, Clemson, ND, Florida, Georgia, atm,... it'd be quicker to say anyone in the top 20. They've proven if given the opportunity they can lose to anyone. Theyre not gonna get the chance this year unfortunately.

I hope they get their special treatment, and I hope they lose first round by 40 points making a fool out of everyone that helps get them in. (And I hope it cost them in another year when its tight between them and someone else, and the committee can't justify another round of special treatment so they get left out)

All 5 teams ( top4 plus Florida) seperate themselves because of QB play...
....thats where AnM is 6 th...Mond isnt at that level..
Any of those 5 can beat the other because of a hot QB...

so it falls to D....
Who plays best D with best DC...
....Clemson...
...ND....
....Bama....
....osu...
....Florida...
In that order

...and I'll contend they'd like beat the last four on that list by double digits.

OSU has some holes but they aren't as large as the teams you've mentioned.

I guess I've an issue with those saying "they don't deserve to be in" because we've circled back to the "deserve" versus "best" argument. In the +/- list in my mind I lean OSU in the best category every time.

Just like I read earlier by Mike Farrell, " If this were the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs played eight games and everyone else played 16, would that be fair? Football is a brutal and physical sport and teams wear down the more games they play".

Deserve and best go hand in hand at times until they don't. Alabama didn't deserve to be in the Playoff last year due to two losses, but clearly they are one of the best teams year in and year out. Better than Oklahoma last year. Ohio State unfortunately plays in a conference where their power brokers decided to give them a short leash where there could be no mistakes, and it wasn't a smart call. Ohio State should be forced to live up to the rules set forth by the conference they are a part of. I'm taking it if they played zero games then you would still let them in the Playoff due to talent, because they haven't shown me anything terribly outstanding like I've seen with other teams. They have beat no one, and talent is their only sticking point. With that being said, their talent isn't playing up to their level yet either, so what are we really going on here?

With more games on the schedule the odds at finishing undefeated decrease. Indiana has played two more games than Ohio State, and they are being punished. What if they missed the Ohio State game and went undefeated, do they deserve a shot? I just don't see how rules were made for this one season, and even they aren't being held up. I personally think Ohio State is one of the best teams due to their ability, but I haven't seen them challenged by anyone, I haven't seen enough games with them, and they aren't even meeting requirements set forth three months ago, so no, I don't think they should be in because they failed to make it happen. Alabama went without its head coach for a game, Clemson went without their star quarterback for one game, and Ohio State missed an entire game because their team got sick. To me they allowed this to happen to them, and they should follow the rules like everyone else. All teams are at the same risk as everyone else. BYU and Coastal made a point to schedule a game they knew they needed, while Ohio State is breaking rules to get what they want.
