BOL has an article ranking the Top Ten most important players relative to Bama's success next season. Who are your Top Ten(in order) and why?

That's what makes you think a bit.

  3. Cody
  4. McClain
  5. Woodall
  6. Ingram
  7. Javy
  8. #2 Running back

I've got a theme with my selections...baseball might give you a clue.

Dunno if Vlachos is the lead off man you want...lol that would be Javy.

Sorry I have Baseball on the brain....

I did expect to see TR in there somewhere...if Upchurch does not recover fully we will need him.

TR, hasn't joined the team yet - and that's the reason I put #2 running back as well.

You didn't get the baseball reference...so I'll leave that open for further comment. ;)

Baseball pundits talk about strength down the middle. I see you have the center, a QB, a nose tackle, an inside linebacker, a safety, a running back, etc. I think I've figured you out.

My picks:

MacElroy
Fluker/Carpenter
Vlachos/Ross
Green
McLain
Cody
Hightower
Arenas
Tiffin
Ingram/Upchurch

And that you do.

I see a strong center balancing the RG replacement.

A strong center, with the proper blocking calls, leading to McElroy's protections in passing situation.

A strong RB, in those passing protections situations, picking up the blitz.

I could go into defense...but knowing you...you know where I'm headed.
