I'd say Georgia. They aren't gonna withstand the hype emerged after the bowl game against Hawaii.

Could be AU due to the new offense and defense like said above. But, I am going to go with Florida as a lock for the biggest letdown. Any team with a QB that skips around the field is bound to be over-hyped.

I find that last sentence to be an interesting observation. Besides watching recruiting (which I do for all the SEC teams) I don't pay a lot of attention to the day to day progress/regression of other teams until they come within a month of playing BAMA.

In this case, I've wondered if Franklin has Todd as his heir apparent for the QB position. But, if it ends up being Burns, one could make a good argument for Burns being a "QB that skips around the field" giving reason to think Auburn is over-hyped.

Record: Could have an undefeated season until we meet them in Atlanta :wink: . Although, I do believe they will slip up somewhere along the way. Possibly @ TN, USCe, or LSU depending on how they are playing at that point of the season. I'll go with 11-1.

Losses: Florida, South Carolina, Georgia,Alabama
Swing Games: Auburn, Arkansas
Record: 8-4 at best. I believe Ole Miss, and @ Arkansas at the end of the year are also possible losses.

Losses: Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, Alabama
Swing Games: Mississippi State, Arkansas, Ole Miss
Record: 7-5. They have a six game stretch of Miss St., LSU, Tennessee, Vandy, Arkansas, and West VA. I say they come out of that 3-3, and then they have to finish the year with Georgia and in T-Town. We've got to beat these guys, and I don't have any doubt in my mind we will.

Obviously, anything short of a NC for the Dawgs this season will be a disappointment, I just don't see them making it there. Florida will be the best team in the SEC in my opinion. LSU will be a letdown, but I haven't expected too much from them since Perrilloux was booted. I think if we have a good season, it will make Auburn look that much worse at the end of the year. This is, of course, if we beat them. So when it is all said and done, I think Alabama's success will make Auburn that much more of a letdown.

All this and I think Tennessee will be better than most think.

It's called humor.

Burns does not skip off the field after a touchdown anyway. At least I have never seen him skip. Tebow does it every game. Touchdown Gators!! Skip...skip...skip...skip...skip....

I think it could be the Barn because of the twin problems of a brand new, very different offense and inexperience at QB. LSU will have inexperience there as well, but their offense is much more close to the vest than the Barn's. Georgia is loaded talent wise. Even with a brutal SEC schedule they should have enough to be close to expectations.

I still insist it's Tebow & Fla. Mainly due to the fractured hand and the exposer done to them by Michigan. The Wolverines turned the ball over four times and still won and Fla. did not turn it over once I believe.

No, just thought about this thread early this morning and went looking for it...after reading it, deserved to be bumped just to see what all had been said 8-9 weeks ago.
