Where is the blame from UAB fans accusing the BOT of not paying Jerrod Haase to stay at UAB and thus allowing him to leave to Stanford? :sarcasm:

They are too busy talking about spring football practice for the team that won't play a game until 2017. I am mildly curious. Will they be permitted to practice football next fall, same as the teams that are actually playing games.

The local talking heads talked about the Haase news as a no-brainer since he's from California, and it is Stanford. The next guy they hire won't make a seven-figure salary or have a private jet to use for recruiting. Then once uab can't make the NIT, then 12-1,500 of them will be crying out about being the victim...again...

The curse of UAB basketball is that their first coach, a terrific coach indeed, succeeded in a big time way. Since then thhaveey have not been terrible, but when they do get a talented young coach he ditches them as soon as he is offered a better job, as Mike Anderson and Haase have done. Murray Bartow might have been a lifer for them, but they ran him off.
