All depending on the game, of course. In '94 I went to see UGA in Birmingham but didn't go to the Southern Miss game the next weekend, in Tuscaloosa. I think I watched that at the International Deli.

Undergrad was a little different than today; the big games were still in Legion Field. Post grad was a bit different ...

In '99 I chose to see Southern Miss, watched LSU from The Houndstooth, and then caught State in BDS the next weekend.

It wouldn't be a struggle to spend $40 on a game day at one of the places on The Strip—A LOT of food and drinks. (makes me think of Harry's.) Last year I attended a Super Bowl party that was $40, all you could eat and drink: $70 for two.

It was $40 just to get into The Houndstooth yesterday. Boo was nice enough to give you two beers and some food. It's akin to the 7-11 charging you $10 for one of their dogs that's been there 12 hours...
