🏈 Whats the depth chart at corner look like?

I know that we have Kirkpatrick, Jones and Scott playing those positions and some serious talent coming in. Seems to me if we can cover man on man we could have a ridiculous defense this year. But corner seems our obvious "trouble spot".

Anyone "in the know" want to talk football, instead of all the UT garbage?

I'm guessing that Dre and BJ Scott will get the first shake at it. Should be interesting, both were highly touted coming out of HS. BJ hasn't seen any live action on defense while Kirkpatrick got mostly ST duty. Both very green, but with loads of talent. Saban will have his hands full with preparing these young fellas for battle, but I bet he is looking forward to the challenge. Phelon Jones might get in the mix, not sure, haven't really heard much on him.

I'd say atleast one of the guys coming in, Milliner or Fulton will get a stab at the Nickle and/or Dime positions.

I can't really think of anyone else that is on scholarship, that will be battling it out with these guys. Maybe someone else can bring out some more names, but this is how I see it right now.

Could be a slight chance for Robby Green to move to CB form his Safety spot...but I would think that would be only if none of these other guys step up, which is unlikely.

Dre Kirkpatrick, Phelon Jones, BJ Scott, Mark Barron, Rod Woodson, Roby Green, Robert Lester Incoming Jarick Williams, Nick Perry, Deion Blue (maybe), John Fulton, Demarcus Millner. If needed. Kennan Allen, Kevin Norwood. then some scout players such as Wesley Neighbors and Kyle Pennington.

I think Phelon Jones is likely to get one starting spot with BJ and Dre competing for the other starting spot and the "star". Robbie Green is likely to start as our other safety during spring. Anything can happen once Milliner and Co. arrive on campus, but I would expect this to be our starting secondary come September as well.
