Of the "modern era" probably the '09 NC against Tex. It had been so long since the '92 NC and the dark years Dubose-Shula had taken a toll It was such an awesome feeling to again be able to say "Alabama is the National Champion"

92 Miami was great because it was the first one after CPB. 09 Texas game was like a cold glass of water after wandering through the desert and it caused me to wonder about "what next?" 2012 over ND exorcised those demons from my childhood in the Midwest where ND fans said Bama couldn't beat them.
