🏈 What road venues have you traveled to watch the Crimson Tide play?

In the last 5 years, Texas A&M and Arkansas. I make it a point to get to every game within 3 hours of Dallas (including bowl games), made every game except the Southern Cal game a few years ago due to a commitment. Texas A&M and Arkansas conflict with schedules the last few years due to high school events on Saturday, September and October are just tough months.

Will be damn near impossible for us to make it in a few years once we move to Montana :-). I am looking forward to going to some University of Montana games.

As an Alabama fan only been to Auburn for the Kick Six Game. Been to neutral sites in Atlanta for Florida State and SEC Championship against Missouri and the West Virginia and Virginia Tech Kick Off Classics. Also went to Miami for the Notre Dame butt whoopin.

As a Georgia fan I went to South Carolina, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Jacksonville for Georgia-Florida. And technically to Athens, but that wasn't an away game.

I definitely plan to start going to more away games as money becomes available, and taking the kids. Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Kentucky are three that I want to visit. LSU, I want to wait till my kids are a hair older so I can leave them with my family and take my wife so we can enjoy the food and tailgating. Definitely plan to go to Austin and Notre Dame down the line if I'm still alive.

First, true road games, then a list of neutral sites.

As a kid, Grant Field(before Dodd's name was put on it).

As an adult, Neyland(thrice) and Vaught-Hemingway(once).

Now neutral sites.

As a kid, The Liberty Bowl(Bryant's last game).

As an adult, Jerryworld twice(USC and UM), GaDome for every Saban opener there(did not go for the opener last year in MB), never the SECCG or post season, Rose Bowl for '09 championship, Superdome for '11 championship.

Easier to say it this way: I haven't been to College Station or War Memorial in Little Rock, or Columbia Missouri in the SEC. That's about it. My most consistent away game has been State College, but I have ties that bind there. I sorta regret I never made it to South Bend. Been to a lot of bowls in Florida and been to the Superdome enough to have a section named in my honor.

i will add that i was down in nola for the Bama/lsu game in 2012. i didn't go to the actual game, but we did get to go into the dome after the game was over to celebrate with the people that were still in there (which was quite a bit, lol). plus, i wound up with 2 free shakers and 2 free programs from that game.

How about earlier? You been around awhile

Most of my SEC away game odysseys started with coach Bryant in the wishbone. Living about 30 minutes from Legion Field gave me an opportunity to see home games with the Tide back to Terry Davis and Johnny Musso on a regular basis. I remember being in Legion field a little earlier though for the Bama vs Ole Miss with Archie Manning and Scott Hunter. That was the year we moved from Huntsville to the B'ham area. So life got a lot easier, football wise. My first bowl was the first Sugarbowl played in the Superdome in 74 when Richard Todd and Bama played Penn State.
