🏈 What road venues have you traveled to watch the Crimson Tide play?

How about earlier? You been around awhile

Most of my SEC away game odysseys started with coach Bryant in the wishbone. Living about 30 minutes from Legion Field gave me an opportunity to see home games with the Tide back to Terry Davis and Johnny Musso on a regular basis. I remember being in Legion field a little earlier though for the Bama vs Ole Miss with Archie Manning and Scott Hunter. That was the year we moved from Huntsville to the B'ham area. So life got a lot easier, football wise. My first bowl was the first Sugarbowl played in the Superdome in 74 when Richard Todd and Bama played Penn State.
Standing in the line to pee at the old Tide and Tiger bar was always a challenge....as soon as you left the stall then time to get another beer and get back in the line again.

Easier to say it this way: I haven't been to College Station or War Memorial in Little Rock, or Columbia Missouri in the SEC. That's about it. My most consistent away game has been State College, but I have ties that bind there. I sorta regret I never made it to South Bend. Been to a lot of bowls in Florida and been to the Superdome enough to have a section named in my honor.

Alabama at Notre Dame in 2028. You may have to take a second mortgage on the house to afford a ticket. It will probably be the most expensive regular season ticket ever at that time. I highly recommend going to South Bend. The place has so much tradition.
