I guess I'm hooked on phonics. Given that I've been on SEC foreign soil a few times, it's important to have a handle that represents. TUSK as in tough and then whatever. Most of the time I've been TUSKtimes and registered that username on this site. Just couldn't get back in so went with TUSKstuff. If @TerryP wants to work his magic, I'll take the old one back. But I'm flexible.

...The home of Newbern's Catfish and Bunyan's BBQ... newbern's has become awful, but it once was phenomenal. Bunyans pulled pork and slaw are still some of the best

I've been in the Army for a long while now and have lived all over the US from HI to KS to DC to NC to LA to GA to KY and now MS with SC on tap for next summer (some of those spots on multiple occasions)

In addition to Iraq/Afghanistan, I also spent a great deal of time in South America. Of which, Argentina was my favorite as family was with me for the tour and my son was born there.

So...

I adopted Che Boludo around that time. It is a rather ubiquitous, colloquial Argentine specific phrase that can be a friendly greeting or attention grabber, insulting response, a meaningless interjection, etc. Roughly it means "Hey Asshole." While I'm mostly friendly, I'm kind of an asshole, so it fits well.

I have about a 2.5 acre pond that is ~10' deep at its deepest. Had a lot of pan fish and small 1 footish bass in it for the longest with the occasional large bass. This year fish seem to have disappeared for the most part. But, almost 4x as many slider turtles, and we are seeing snakes regularly for the first time. Outside of a large heron that showed up last fall and the snakes and turtles, all has been the same as it has for years... Just fewer fish.

We've never fed them regularly or tested the water. Is there something you'd recommend to assess the situation and take steps to try and manage back to a healthy fishing pond?

I don't remember exactly why, but I do remember when I started using Bamabww. It was on Clay's Bama page way back in the 1990's. BWW are my intials. I've been told if my parents would have had any imagination, they would have named me in such a way that my initials would have been BMW.

It's a military thing. It's a combination of initials and other indetifying numbers we used in basic training. I guess it was in case we forgot who we were.
