You had better believe that Tubby and the Barn will
pull out all stops to hang an "L" on the Tide. We as
fans can't get so smug as to not take this game as a
serious threat. Remember this is the "Iron Bowl" and
both teams will be jacked. I do believe we will win
"BUT" I've heard some of my friends put this in the
win column without any respect to the rivalry. I will
er on the side of caution and not spout off until we
have secured the win.

RTR !!!!!!!

Bama-Tee, fans don't play the game.

'Bama fans deserve to be cut a bit of slack. We deserve a little bit of time to revel in some of the enjoyment the team has won for us.

This game is locked up, in my opinion. As someone else on this board was saying just yesterday, 99 percent of the time the team favored to win this game wins it.

Alabama is just too much of a team for the AuNecks to grapple with. The "rivalry" aspect of this game will last for about 2 possessions and then the talent, coaching, and determination of finishing the game and executing good, fundamental football will take over.

Have you seen their offense? It's literally impossible to underestimate.

Silly Argo. Teams were stealing their signals.

They had no choice. Tate left, Tate right, and a lame duck 10 second 30 yard heave down the left sideline was too hard to defend. They needed an edge.

as long as the team takes Auburn seriously, the fans should feel free to think what they will...afterall, it IS the Iron Bowl and we're expected to harp on the other team a little bit and have a little fun.

That is why the excuse has me laughing. They run 4 plays. It was like Tecmo Bowl... you didn't know what the other team was running, but you had a 25% chance of guessing it right. And even if you picked wrong, and they lined up in shotgun, you knew what was coming, so you could still stop it.

So basically what you have is, the barn playbook right here...

They may need to trim that down a bit, Porter, simplify it. LOL

Tommy Trott is out, so that takes the pass play off the table. Since he had 2 weeks though, I suspect that sneaky Ensminger probably installed a QB sneak to replace it with.

I bet you are right about the QB sneak. I bet you are also right that it took 2 weeks to teach it to them.

The way you delivered the "sneaky Ensminger" statement into your post is brilliance. That is funnier than all the jokes I just read on BamaDog.

So what'd you say when Org St played USC, or Ole Miss played Gators, better yet ND and SC last week? Still think the games a lock?

You're entitled to your opinion, but most people that know football, know no game is a locked game.

The thing is though if we lose it won't be because the fans considered it a lock.

Let's not get into myself not understanding football, as you put it.

If I choose to believe that Alabama will have no difficulty during this game, I will.

Thanks,

Altie

Oh no they have all that in their play book!I hope we have the generators ready for back up if there is a power outage at BDS!

No matter what the current state of Auburn, our players know all about the last six years, and all about how intense this rivalry is. They also know that if they mess up and lose, it is good by to NC hopes. With all this at stake, if the players are not ready to play this game, then we've made many serious recruiting mistakes. Pudgy old fans like me, well it doesn't matter what I think.
