If you've followed Palm over the years he's always been all over the map when it comes to why he places some teams where he places them. If you look over the "rankings" of how bacteriologist have done over the past five years his track record isn't the best: ranked 82nd out of 127 brackets through 2018.
How accurate is he going to be this year? We'll see. But, this doesn't set up well from Mr. Palm if I'm reading this correctly.
If you recall, in November of last year the NCAA officially announced they were moving to a different ranking system. The actual press release states/is titled, "The NET, explained: NCAA adopts new college basketball ranking to replace RPI."
