I met Darwin back in the late '90's sitting in a bar in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Interesting meeting...me and my date were sitting at the bar watching a Vandy game. A guy comes up and starts talking about my relationship with 'Bama, etc. After about 30 minutes he showed me his ring and I immediately asked him his name. When he said "Darwin" I asked him..."Darwin Holt IE: Ga. Tech?"

He was in the insurance business at that time...and I think he still is. But, now, instead of working out of the SC area he's working out of B-ham.

Auburn fans might say that's the second most controversial block in Alabama history. Gusty Yearout contends to this day that Dennis Dixon clipped him on Stabler's run in the rain in 1967.
