🏈 Vegas early lines

LSU has horrible numbers against good defenses.

The problem is, our offense has been...offensive.

I am not among those who are not worried about LSU. I am VERY worried. They have more talent and depth than any team we have played, and it is not even close.

If our offense plays like it has the past 3 games, we WILL get beat. Even the incompetence of the Hat will not be enough to save us.

Our offense was so bad against UT that I am scared to do a TD column this week. I have never picked against us...I am afraid that streak will come to an end if I do a prediction this week - regardless of how LSU has looked at times this season. They will bring their A game against us. I have not seen our A game this season...b+ a couple of times, but not our A game.

Oh boy, when you're worried....makes me even more so.

The points are mind boggling to me. Maybe they meant we'd score 10.

There are 3 players on this team that scare me. First is Holliday. We have been suspect on our ST coverage and with his speed he could hurt us.

Also their two receivers Lafell and Tolliver. Both are having a good year. If we have a weakness on D it is in the secondary.

I think where the game can be won is pass rush. Both ours and theirs. They do not get a lot of pressure on the QB which will help McElroy out tremendously. He will have time to do his reads and hit the correct receiver.
Whereas Jefferson will not.

I think Big Fan said it best when he wrote "".

That said, imagine what a 10 point win would do for the voters. I suspect that this would vault Bama back in front of Texas...not that it matters or that I care...I'm just sayin'.

What is sad is that a 7 point win would be disappointing to some. :shock:x2. I'd take that kind of disappointment everyday of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Whether it's because teams are not giving Holliday a chance to hurt them, or if he's not that effective that year, the Tigers are 117th in the nation in kick returns. And Holliday himself is tied for 63rd in kickoff return yards (23.82 YPG; 11 returns for 261 yards).

There are some surprisingly disappointing numbers for this LSU team, and that's probably tops.

Or, you have teams that haven't had to punt that often on LSU.

FWIW, Holiday has never really been a factor in any of our games.
