Congrats Utes.

What I said still stands. You want respect, BEAT US. DO IT. And you did.

Congratulations on a fantastic season. We had obvious extenuating circumstances with the OL, but you did your homework on how to attack our defense.

Good luck in the future and in the MWC.
 
Yep have to give credit where credit is due. Yall did to us what we did to most teams this year. If anything good comes from this on my side, its the fact that this just shows how flawed the stupid BCS is and how much we need a playoff. Who's to say Utah couldn't beat Oklahoma or Florida?

I tell you what, they looked every bit as fast as Florida.
 
Utah deserves no lower than a #3 ranking... possibly #2 depending on the outcome of the UF/OU game. They really surprised me tonight, especially their QB play. I knew Smitty being out would hurt us, and it did, but then losing Johnson was a killer. Utah really turned up the heat and was able to exploit the Line after that.
 
Congrats Utah. I can't say that I was suprised that our offense stunk it up, but the fact that our defense couldn't pressure, cover or stop 3rd down conversions was a shock to me.

I think that is what stings me the most. Our D was horrible. I'll leave it at that from restraint. :twisted:
 
Yea I thought both team looked ready to play, the Ute qb was able to sustain his level of play throughout the entire game and we really couldn't do anything on those short timing routes. (evev nfl teams cant really do it which is why shutouts are rare there in my eyes) But its hard to keep it up but the Utes managed that. Defensively i feel we dominated the line of scrimmage like we always do, but again the short timing routes stopped that. Offensipvely the loss of Andre hurt us alot more than i tholught it would.

But I dont see a huge meltdown on these boards so i am happy, looking forward to next year, where we will be better.

Congrats utah, you needed a flawless game, and it was virtually just that.

EDIT :(as i read above , im not talking aboout the secondary, missed tackles tick me off to, but they werent demonstrative of the entire effort)

Your team man handled our guys. No Excuses, you guys hit us hard and didn't let up.

Congrats and ROLL TIDE BABY! Hope we get a chance to redeem our self against you in next years National Championship Game! :D
