Shaka Smart agrees to Texas job

Shaka Smart is leaving Virginia Commonwealth to coach the Texas Longhorns.

VCU sports information director Scott Day confirmed to reporters gathered at the campus Thursday night that Smart was making the move. Smart met with VCU players earlier in the evening at the Siegel Center, the team's home arena, and at least one player was seen crying when he left.

Did they? I don't see much with either coach and I think that Strong has seen his best day. Texas will remain a little above average team in football, say at the most 8 or 9 wins per year. Today you don't get away with 3 or 4 losses per year. But, what do I know I thought Marshall would have been in T'Town today. I surely miss that one. I look for Miller now if we have any LUCK at all left.
