🏈 USC Trojan's fans are going crazy over CAM and the NCAA

USC fans need to have a large bowl of STFU. What they did was an institutional lack of control, not using legal terms there. They were just blatant about coddling athletes, and Bush was the most blatant and high profile. Wonder if Lendale White wonders why he didn't get the same treatment?

As for the Boogs of Lee County, they may end up getting off scott-free. Good for them if they do. I hate it for them that Karma will owe them a big one in the future.

I think your right, looks like there gonna totally skate on all this completely....you wonder though did Cecil Newton find this loop hole before all this came out..I wonder if this whole deal was thought out before anything came to light,I don't believe this guy is as dumb as people are makin him out to be.I honestly believe this sham was orchestrated out in Texas when it was realized that a star was in the making.I believe that Mullen was so infatuated with having Newton that Cecil knew he would do anything to get him, even if it ment paying money..So the ploy was set ..I also believe that Cecil knew Cam was going to Awebarn the whole time and was gonna get what he could out of him before he signed with the barn..and that right there is what pissed mullen the F off...and more so his wife she wasn't gonna let some preacher man make a mockery of her husband.....just my 2 cents..

Strick, you might be on to something. I still think that the FBI has something on that whole Auburn clan down there, and it goes all the way back to those wiretaps that Bob Riley had requested on McGregor and others. There is a link. Has to be. But as of right now, there is nothing more. The NCAA and FBI don't work in the same areas very often, but the FBI takes precedent over any athletic body or conference. They will be the ones driving this from now on.

I don't think it's over. I think Mullin has a bone to pick obviously, but something happened to suddenly make that kid want to go to Auburn instead of playing for Mullin.

Well all of my Auburn fans....and even the ones that work for the university claim they are not being investigated...:lance:

and that it is all over now....that they are in the clear..:dazed:

Saw this on another USC Forum:

My name is unimportant. What is important is that I am the father of a sure fire, five-star running back recruit for the 2012 recruiting season. I am currently shopping around to see exactly how much money I can get to secure my son’s commitment to a SEC university. Before you run me off, remember that as long as there is NO EVIDENCE that either my son or your favorite school has any knowledge of our negotiation, then we have done NOTHING WRONG. Well, as far as the NCAA is concerned, anyway. Did I mention I am a minister, so people believe most of what I say? Also, I am really good at keeping secrets.
So let the bidding begin! If you want to add a National Title and Heisman trophy to your favorite school’s trophy case, pass that hat and start the collection. Let’s get busy not breaking any rules!

The media keeps saying no money changed hands....we all know that rev.newton couldn't fix just 1 church! We also know that rev.newton had not 1 but 5 churches repaired PRO-BONO! There's your money trail and NO ONE is saying a word about it! We have a lot of Good Detectives on this site, so would someone please tell me, What Contractor fixed the churches and Does that Person Have or Not Have Connections to Auburn or any other school?! This is where the money Trail Starts....Maybe Rev.Newton didn't receive CASH, Maybe he Received $180,000.00 in 5 Church Renovations Materials and Labor....and a $60,000.00 Truck! I would really appreciate anyone that answer this question for me....
Roll Tide Roll!

revisiting this one last time today......There can simply be no doubt that Auburn made a deal with the devil at some point. I don't know the devil's name though. That's the problem. Without knowing who got what and how much, you don't have a case. But the ironies of this season for Auburn are just too large to overlook:

Sign Newton after barely recruiting him, taking him from MSU, who had a head coach that recruited him from high school.
The fact that Alabama wins the national title the season before Auburn is in line to play for it. That's not just irony. That seems like a planned, sell-our-soul event. It's just too ironic.
The connection of Milton McGregor to Auburn UNiversity, and his legal troubles with the FBI knowing about conversations between him and other people. The FBI has remained fairly quiet on this. So far.
The decision to hire a guy like Gene Chizik, who had been a failure as a head coach at Iowa State. Speaks volumes of what the expecations of him were, coming into the job.
Auburn's average at best recruiting for several years, and then, suddenly, landing a near top-class for 2010. That isn't something that comes from nowhere. Be it negative recruiting or what-have-you, they had a gigantic class. Damn near had two of the three top running backs. Signed probably the best QB prospect in the country.
Finally, Newton's past. Here's a guy who has a decent history of poor judgement, or just blatant disregard for rules and regulations. Tickets, cheating in class, stealing stuff....Just looks a guy anyone else would stay away from, UNLESS IT WAS THOUGHT TO BE A SLAM DUNK ON THE FIELD.

I can't ignore the ironies of their season. I just can't.

:toilet: Yep! All the good things that happend were just too good to be true. What's gonna happen in the near future reminds me of an ol' country song "Are we rollin downhill like a snowball headed for Hell, and are the good times really over for good?"

Pat Dye. Bobby Lowder. Milton McGregor. Colonial Bank. Yellawood. Bingo. Chizik vs. Tubbie/Terry. This ain't over yet. They think they've been clever and they think they got the perfect puppet coach in Chizik. But they also got greedy and arrogant. And that's when people go too far and make mistakes.

It's a house of cards and I even wonder if Slive colluded. I just know too many connected people that have all said too many of the same things. We'll just see how this plays out still.

BTW - you can rip on USC all you want - and I can't stand the Trojans - but they have a reason to b!tch. This is basically double standard treatment.

didn't they prove that the Bush's took money (new car, live in free house in spring valley, etc)?

as far as I know, nothing has been proved that the Newton'$ took money...YET. There is plenty of speculation.

so as of now, it's not double standards...least how I see it.
