Alabama starts the season out at #5. And just think, this time last year we were arguing whether or not we would be in the top 25.

Roll Tide!

Colin Cowherd was talking about this poll on his show today, and asking people to call in with their picks for this year's Clemson (highly ranked now, unranked at the end of the season) and this year's Cinderella (not ranked now but a real factor by the end of the season. Let's give this a try:

This year's Clemson:

Oklahoma State should have a great offense, but they are very suspect on D. They have an early season date with Georgia, and games with powerhouses Texas and Oklahoma. I don't think they'll manage the rest of their big 12 schedule with no losses either. The Cowboys will be this season's disappointment.

Cinderella:

Miami has stockpiled some talent with some good recruiting classes. In what is generally a mediocre ACC, the Canes will be much better.

Don't let 252 see this.

I think OK ST has enough to score with anyone so they will be fine but watch for USC to lose 3 games and for them and football that will be a shock. The surprise team will be Miami (I would say BYU but alot of people know about them now so it wont be a big shock).

ND being ranked is a friggin joke.

A lousy one at that, they have a weaker schedule than a WAC or MWC team, but if a WAC or MWC team goes 10-2 they wouldn't be going to a BCS game. They have 3~4 potentially decent teams they play (Big 10 teams), and one game they have no chance in winning (USC).

Miami has a real tought schedule. I don't see them being no cinderella story by a long shot.

The first four games are

@ Florida State
Georgia Tech
@ Virginia Tech
Oklahoma

That is going to be a tough !
