📝 Updates for the last week of January with numbers becoming limited for the Tide.

The last four "Futurecasts" from Rivals:

Moss: covers Memphis
Luerssen: social media guy for Rivals
Farrell: I believe I've been pretty clear on how much stock I put in his choices when it comes to Bama.

Spiegelman: LSU lead reporter.

FWIW, Farrell put Bogle to Miami before he committed to Bama.

Put as much stock in Bogle to Miami as you'd like. I do believe it's of note that the national media seems to be doing their dead level best to push Miami into the headlines in any way possible. There are a few that believe Florida is still in the race for his signature. It's another "let's let it play out" story.

Final Predictions for CFB's Biggest Winners and Losers of 2019 Signing Window

Read this take on ALABAMA!!
We sign 24 kids in December and more than likely finish with Young, Robinson, Bogle, and To'oto'o and maybe Sopsher yet BAMA is a LOSER? WTF?

Only way I could see this class even remotely coming close to a "LOSER" would be for us to miss on all of our targets PLUS lose the ones committed and we stay at 24. I just don't see that happening.

It appears some of the folks at Rivals has an axe to grind with Bama. JMO but I believe Miami is setting up this Bogle flip as take something from Alabama (with the help of the player) for NSD headlines. They need some headlines for sure.

Trying to get these kids from the Sip to Bama is a challenge. I thought it would get better once Hugh was out at the Johnny Rebs. Why in the hell would any really talented kid want to play at State if they had choices. True , you can get to the NFL from any SEC school.

I wonder what went wrong with the kid from Daphne and Bama. His HC is Kenny King former Bama player.

It's a bad take, or an ill-informed take.

Alabama should hold on to the No. 1 class of the 2019 recruiting cycle, making Nick Saban an overall winner. Signing day, however, might not be as friendly to the program.
The Crimson Tide are working on 5-star offensive tackle Darnell Wrightand top-50 prospects in Sopsher and linebacker To'oto'o. It's possible they're limited to the last, though.
Four committed 4-stars in Bogle, Young, Williams and running back Keilan Robinson are exploring other options. Losing any of them would be disappointing. Plus, Ealy and Mississippi State pledge Pickering are 4-stars but will be tough pulls.
That's not even the comprehensive list of players on Alabama's radar. With 15 early enrollees and nine confirmed signees, the Tide already have 24 players in the class, excluding the verbal commits.
Alabama's shortage of space will push a few valued targets elsewhere and create a whole bunch of NSD movement.
Don't you just love "Loser: Alabama Crimson Tide" and then in the first paragraph the mention of #1 class and Saban being a winner?

Darnell Wright is how this guy starts? He was considered an option for the Tide back in October of last year and that's when we were looking at filling two spots on the offensive line. There are five signed--exactly what the Tide was after in this class. He shouldn't even be in the conversation.

They did it with Richt, and now are continuing to do it with Diaz. Now, they're categorizing Richt's tenure as a failure. It was a continuation of what we've seen from Miami football over the last decade plus.

That article 94 posted is from BR, but you're right about Rivals with one exception/addendum. Their axe to grind is with Terry and the trickle down lands at Bama. A lot of guy are still ticked off they didn't get the invite to join 247 at its launch.

There may be a lot of chatter about recruiting for the last month and a half but the reality is that we're still only talking about 5 maybe 6 kids still on our shopping list. It's really hard for me to see any out there the equal of our best who have signed and been delivered. So still lots of noise but really not that many recruits. This February the hays in the barn.

Agree with Terry, Wright was gone weeks before Early Signing Day due to the Neal signing, so this is a garbage article. He makes note of those looking around, but makes zero note that we have the highest rated player at each of their positions. What a load. For what it's worth, 247 had us as a team that could make a splash in their write up.

10 teams that could make huge splash on National Signing Day

I wonder if this dumbass from B/R is throwing Wright out there as a loss because we offered and had the OT commit from Texas here on an OV last week. I thought that Wright ship sailed long ago. Guy just grasping for clicks.

I saw an article (not sure where) that showed Bama with 23 out of 24 being in the 247sports top x list and the next closest was Georgia at 13. I have not done the research to confirm. If that is indeed the case we can take what we have and add no one and it is still a great class.
