In the top right hand corner you've seen the search options. There's a few things that have changed within that interface.
As you can see it's still an easy interface. Make note it is a search within the confines of this site. (Including news feeds from the news forums.) You'll notice there is now three options for your search along with the options of searching by keyword or author/member.
Notice the Advanced search option as well in the attached thumbnail:
Database searches:
As you'll see this is powered by Google. We've got this option built in now for a few reasons. One, it's a limited search meaning sites are exclusively picked. In other words, you won't be pulling scores from sites that feature opinion pieces or their authors. You're not wading through AL.com, et. al.
This search engine is built for statistical data:
All Time Scores
Archives from University of Alabama year by year (games, rosters, news, events, all time statistics, etc. )
Latest Odds
Statistical Rankings
Depth Charts
Schedules
SEC stats only
Alabama stats only.
... could go on an on here. Bottom line it's a quick way to find an answer.
**As a side note you'll see "Search Media" and "Search Media Comments" at the top of that latest picture. That's not the media as you know them: ESPN, FOX, etc. That's a media section also under construction that's within the confines of this site. More on that addition soon.**
