Provide much needed topics of discussion during the slow period this time of year. Last year 247 sports.com had a series of these from 6/23-7/3. Appears they have not done so this year. Are there any out there this year?

Several of the guys on ESPN's CFB team put together some rankings about a month ago. As I recall, Ed Cunningham was the guy ranking OL's and he had Iowa then Alabama as his top two followed by FSU and Clemson (can't recall their order.)

Booger did the DL's and had Bama at #3 behind LSU and one other team.

I'll see if I can find it again.

I remember Desmond had Special Teams and had Harris listed as the kick-returner. I thought that was interesting coming in June.

Lots of folks in the know are high on the Tide's NATIONAL unit ranking so far. With Athlon ranking Bama's front seven and back half of the defense number one units it hard not to project a dominating defense and heads and shoulders above SEC competition (Pay attention LSU). It's the speed and skill level that I believe will look really different than previous defensive units. Even the numbers projection NATIONALLY for our OL & WR/TE at #2 says whoever gets the QB spot will have a very nice cushion to play with.

Someone should start a thread on just the speed merchants at their position and mismatch potential on the field. Gonna take a lot of scheming and double teaming to try to match up with Bama. Should be a nightmare.

Below is my snapshot of Bama's current OL situation. If sources such as ESPN and Phil Steele are ranking our Offensive Line to be in the top 3 nationally headed into the 2016 season, imagine how great are the prospects for the team as a whole.
LT - Returning starter
LG - New starter
C - New to the center position
RG - Probable returning starter - weight issues + DUI suspension
RT - New starter

Our OL recruiting suggests this could be a really good group. Looking forward to watching our offensive line this year, tons of potential here. Could be the best offensive line performance Saban's had at Alabama...
