Sarcasm noted. Thing is Bama was ready for a fake and it was never going to work. It wouldn't have been genius if they pulled it off, it would have been a fail of epic proportions for the defense if they let them.

Boy, we got cute in the red zone when we should have flexed some muscle all night. Personnel choices and play calls were terrible. What happens to the game plan that worked so well vs LSU? Worked for Jaw-jaw.

When coach went for the blocked punt late in the first half with Waddle standing on the 50, I was thinking this is going to take an epic effort just to repeat last season's results.

Thank you, Kirby, 4th and 11 and everyone and their brother could see Fields on the punting team. Odd that Kirby flinched before his team did. In a night full of questionable coaching decisions that's was the worst.

I really don't understand why we didn't run more this game. Monster runs straight up the middle all game long.

Especially with Tua not being "on" as normal. Pound that line with those RBs. Guess that's why I'm not coaching.

Dumb call by Kirby for sure.

The call by bama and Saban to try and block the punt before half to me was also not a good call. Should have taken the ball around midfield at worse and let the Bama offense try and score before half.

Terrible call. If Kirby’s explanation is true, he should have called it off or called a TO. Terrible decision.
