I am glad to see the appeal. FSU fans might not be crazy about it, since if they restore Papa Bowden's wins in the wake of an academic cheating scandal they could hardly refuse to restore ours. I'll watch this with considerable interest.

I would rather see the probation period shortened, than get the vacated wins back. We have those wins anyway. Like someone mentioned on this site before you can't unring a bell....

I agree. If they went overboard on this (and I believe they did), they will be worse if we are on some lenghty probation. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.

Appeal is absolutley the right thing to do, and doing it with non-pansy lawyers is the proven way to go.
