Just tried Puffer from work. Will try from my DSL connection at home tonight. I love it so far!!!! Hope it will work from my samsung smart TV.
Me too on dish with adapter my OTA reception is so so trying a new antenna this afternoon. Nice to learn about puffer as a back up.I have Dish, they make an adapter that will pick up local channels OTA that plugs in to the Dish receiver usb from a coaxial on an antenna, the channels show up on the Dish guide as OTA...works great, adapter is around 60 to 80 bucks. My locals are out of Huntsville.
I’m a geek brother. I remembered a Navy class and many instruction modules on antennae and waveform propagation. So I did a search and made one. Used this concept because it uses the same concept as the commercial ones that mount inside your home. Fractal antennae are why you don’t have an external antenna on your cell phone. Can get high range HD 1080 from walmart...35$..
Return it after season..lol
i like @XXL TideFan ideas even better

The length that the wires are cut are important but do not need to be “dead nuts” perfect. Little research and a bit of time and you have a free antenna without getting corona at Walmart.
Easy Peasy Fractal Antennae
I got the "dead nuts" part.
Wait til you get my age and you start sitting on them, you'll know what I'm talking about.Maybe you should see a doctor about that.
I posted this earlier somewhere on this site. It is too late right now but for the future this really works great.
You'll likely get another month free.CBS All Access has a free 5 day trial. I signed up earlier today and will be cancelling after the game.
Wal-Mart has 1 in the antenna sectionI might actually try to make one of those. I probably have all the materials, minus the little transformer thing?
