I wouldn't read too much into that. They got lucky on 2 plays....not because they were so good, but because we messed up. Stats don't tell the whole story. We gave up more than 100 of their rushing yards on 3 plays. We aren't used to seeing an offense that throws the ball 3 times in a game. A couple of times we had a guy out of position and it bit us. We also turned the ball over for them a couple of times. Again... not so much gloom and doom my friend. The sky isn't falling. We aren't perfect, but we are freaking good. If we lose a game....it is the ANY GIVEN SATURDAY axiom at play....nothing to do with how good or bad this team is. It is FREAKIN good.

This is borderline intellectual dishonesty.

You can't compare what Clemson does with a triple option team to what happened Saturday. Clemson drew two triple option teams last year. They've played GT every year under Johnson.

Great point! I coached my daughter's softball team for several years. Never could get them to listen to a damn thing after a good win. They were all ears after a loss or a poor win.

Says who? Citadel was doing it with scheme, not personnel. Georgia is mostly coming at Alabama downhill. To get on the edge in new and interesting ways they will need to play Fields. That's almost a certainty at this point. But it's also true there are serious reasons Kirby hasn't let their true freshman play that much against much less talent.


On the other hand, LSU had the best DBs we will see this year. But they lost their best pass rusher earlier in the season and they were not a typical get after the QB defense. We threw them silly and had over 500 yards of total offense.

Miss State had a better defensive front line and gave Tua much more trouble, even though they weren't nearly as talented as LSU on the backend.

Georgia will look a lot more like LSU than the Maroon Dawgs, as far as getting pressure on the QB and the makeup of their defense. Do you consider the advantages Bama has on offense something that Georgia's defense is going to be struggling with or is it mostly gloom and doom around the house? I'm guessing the latter

Well of course I don't mind him spreading his point of view, but the continuation of comments like that made zero sense. Definite troll, but when has a team truly dominated us running the ball, especially getting outside of us?
