Yep. There were some that were pissed when he was hired too, because he wasn't any good as the Falcons offensive coordinator, Pawl....
You know the crazy thing is that he actually did pretty good as the Falcon's OC. I think Matt Ryan threw for more yards under Sark in 2018 than he did when he won MVP in 2016.

"Bbbbbuttt Pawwwl dey still went 7-9! He ain't a winner!!"

If/When Grubb is hired soon, you'll hear the same things from some fans...

By far the GOAT of all Bama OCs. Funny enough I remember seeing "Fire Sark" posts in 2019 and 20 lmao.
I think he had some really questionable decisions in 2019 (Slade Bolden at wildcat vs LSU when Najee was feasting; throwing it at the goaline vs auburn that led to a pick 6). But that dude absolutely cooked when it came to scheming, getting your best play makers in space and player development. His 2020 game vs UGA was such an awesome chess match between him and Kirby and he got the upperhand. Truthfully he had the keys to a Ferrari in 2020, but his creative play calling was out of this world. Think my favorite play call was the Najee TD against Florida where he was split out wide at receiver. Complete timing route they must have practiced 1000 times and Sark waited for the most opportune moment to call it.

Was hoping Deboer would bring some of that here. Saw little wrinkles here and there all season, but I was kind of underwhelmed. Then again, I believe he stated not all of the offense is installed yet. Really wish we'd maximize on preshift motions.
