I just don't understand the mindset of these kids. You played one year at a school and you didn't start, so you hit the road? It takes at least a year to learn a system, mature physically and mentally, and be ready to compete for a starting job in year 2. Not everyone is Ryan Williams. Even King Henry didn't start his first season at the Capstone. And when you go to a new school, the process starts all over again. You might not start at your new school because you're learning a new system and figuring things out. These kids need a dad or a mom who will kick their butt and give them a dose of reality.

Think that's a big issue with kids these days. Never had to work for anything, and that's not just athletes. We went to school, had a job, played sports, and had chores. Most parents of athletes i know allow their kids to just concentrate on sports where the really good ones don't even have to really work there. They've been the best player since peewee or tball and it's been easy for them. Don't think that's good for a kid.

Read that he is down to 6 teams

UNC, UCLA, USCe, UCF, FSU, and Bama

and according to Tim Watts he has some eligibility issues that could take some time to resolve.

Eligibility issues? Well that quickly eliminates UNC and UCLA, so we should still be in the hunt!

This loops back into the Pavia story with the NCAA/court ruling on JUCO, NIL, and eligibility.

It's been at least a week since I read an article about UGA contacting Faison. At the time of that writing, the JUCO decision had been settled, and I understand he is one of a handful that are getting another year.
