I would to. But since we're seemingly shopping around for the position, I wish we'd schedule that Bowles kid. I still think he ends up somewhere in Florida, but wouldn't hurt to try.I'd take him.

It won't be Bama, but I really like this dude...
Based on the minutes played by Oatis this fall, Ray Charles would be equal to Oatis.Somebody, anybody...Is Hill-Green a good trade for Oatis? (I know they play different positions.)
It does for me but I suspect it is the opposite of what you are thinking.Hopefully this visual helps put some of this in focus for some.
now that is funny .Based on the minutes played by Oatis this fall, Ray Charles would be equal to Oatis.

Yep, that was him.Wasn’t it Kite that got booted from the team earlier this fall or was that another one?
Raw numbers is what I am looking at. Deeper dive may tell a different story. The spread in the numbers are aligned mostly (i say mostly) with how well the teams are doing on the field. Taking a sample the numbers say UGA and Texas are top of the league, Bama upper middle of the pack. Not where Bama should be. So just using raw numbers as an indicator of pecking order in the SEC. Not the full picture just a snapshot of one way to look at it.Talk this out with me (unless I'm misunderstanding your post). With all the announced departures, UA is just now hovering around that 85 threshold mark, give or take a guy. IMO, Bama has lost 2 players thus far that were worth keeping. They are going to lose at least 3 to the NFL and a few more to the portal before it's all said and done. There are needs that need to be filled via the portal as it is, so clearing up a few spots is a necessity. So, understanding all of that, why the concern? Things have gone pretty well thus far (from my view).

FYI We're at 105 starting after the Spring of 2025. 2025-2026 scholarship limits change and Universities are provided a lot more flexibility on that end.Talk this out with me (unless I'm misunderstanding your post).
