I don't know if they can take his scholarship away or not. It might be something that needs to be handled once he's officially on campus or something. Since he's currently enrolled but might be taking a grey shirt or whatever it is for the time being.

I'd guess someone with more information on how the student scholarship thing works would be able to tell us here.

He's still on team and suspended.

Saban's M.O. is to suspend and then give the kid an opportunity to earn a spot back on the team. A lot will depend on the outcome of the legal proceedings.

I don't know that I trust any of the hype with that portal BS with Sanders. When the media constantly spins the great things he's done with the portal they like to forget he lost over half a team's scholarship worth of players from his program in the same time-frame.
