I have my doubts either Petty or Lewis will sit a year. The way the NCAA is rubber stamping transfers why would they not allow them to play immediately? It's likely defined as a "hardship" due to the coaching change.

Consider this. If Kira didn't think he'd be able to play immediately what's the point of transferring and not simply shooting overseas? I can't see the reasoning behind him sitting out next season, then playing in 2021, when it's pretty clear he was headed to the NBA in 2021 as it was.

This . I'm sure each of them think the NBA is the next step. And, just because they're in the portal doesn't mean they're leaving. I'm sure each of them (maybe) wants to see who the new coach is.
